Shocking: meet step-siblings that are about to get married and saying they don't care what people think

The pair happened to be step-siblings, Julie and Dean, They started developing feelings for each other when Dean was on the process of his divorce, it was Julie who supported him in the whole process.

According to report, Julie and Dean call the same dad and grew up closely and sees one and other as brothers and sisters but it was not something that lasted after both declared their feelings for each other in what has surprised many including their family members.

The pair are set to be called husband and wife as planning of wedding is in their plans, it will be recall that before Julie's dad died, He gave his blessings to the pair, Robert Kirkwood, Julie's father's name.

Some members of their extended families are not happy over their feelings together  but the pair have come out to say: "We don’t care."

"I’m happy they are getting married end of story. They are good for each other and if they’ve got feelings for each other, then fair enough", a family member, Robert said.

Dean who is an electrician, is currently 47-year-old said: "It did feel strange at first and it took me a while to get used to it. I’m not going to let anybody dictate my life it’s about me and her.

"I have not seen some members of the family directly but I know some of them will be against it.

"They’ll probably pass me in the street now without speaking.

"We know we are going to be up against it but we are just going to see how it plays out and if we need to, we will move away.

"We don’t know what the backlash will be. It’s sad because it should be the happiest day of my life."

While Julie, is 52-year-old said: "We had to overcome people not being happy at us being together. But it doesn’t matter what anyone says."

They are currently planning their wedding even when most people are not cool with their found love for each other and the pair have openly said if possible they could move away if that will solve the situation to another place that will make feel good and safe.

It is said that Julie hired a private investigator to find Robert, who had been unaware she existed and that was when Dean and Julie met.

Report says Marvis, Julie's mum got together with Robert in 1962 but later split before she was born 1964, while John Hunter, the biological father to Dean died in an auto-crash in 1970 leading to Myra, mum of Dean marrying Robert in 1975, which led to Julie and Dean being step-siblings.
