The tax document
To show that he is up to date with his transactions and investments, the Portuguese star, released his tax document to Spanish authorities on 30th of March, which shows over 203 million euros worth of investments.
The representative of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gestifute, published the document along with a statement that insists Spain's tax authorities "have knowledge of all Cristiano Ronaldo's assets and income".
The documents show Ronaldo has €203,793,952 outside of the country and €23,506,231 in Spain, up until December 31, 2015.
Jorge Mendes' organisation's, a popular agent and the agent of the star, wrote a statement as follows: "Cristiano Ronaldo is up to date with his tax obligations from the beginning of his career, in all the countries in which he has lived.
"This document has not been shared out of obligation, but on a voluntary basis. It is irrefutable proof that the player and the agency are acting in good faith and collaborating with the authorities in the spirit of transparency and the law."
Following the tax investigation, El Mundo revealed that the Portiguese has been under scrutiny for the past 18 months now and that they are at an "advanced" stage so far.
