Both Greek and Turkish Cypriots in the UK embarked on a protest outside the Turkish embassy in London on Tuesday night which mark the annual protest on the anniversary of  the unilateral declaration of independence in northern Cyprus on November 15 in 1983.

The protest was organized by the National Federation of Cypriots based in the UK demonstrated, demanding Tukey to remove her troops from the Island that has been divided for more than three decades and honour the obligation of Europe and Cyprus.

Protest that was organized by the NFC was joined by the president of POMAK, officers and members of the federation's executive, NEPOMAK president and EFEK (Cypriot Students in the UK) former president to deliver a resolution message to Turkish ambassador.

The message that was delivered by the group, demand Turkey to honour the negotiation not just with words but including action to withdraw her troops from Cyprus and dropping it's 'anachronistic' demand to be a guarantor power.

UK Prime Minister, Theresa May, was not left out as a letter was also drafted to her, calling on the UK government to put in it's influence on Turkey to facilitate Cyprus settlement.
