It is another achievement for Google as they have launched and announced their first smartphone design in-house.
It was shown to the world in San Francisco, California on Tuesday.
Rick Osterloh, the head of Google's newly formed hardware group said: "So today, I’m very excited to introduce you to a new phone made by Google, we call it Pixel."
Google Android have been doing pretty well for themselves and have so many products in their credits and have sold phones and tablets under the Nexus name and now they just launched their first smartphone.

Google have taken a step forward by manufacturing its own smartphone rather than just making supply of software to other manufacturers.
With the launching of the new smartphone, Google have stepped up bid to compete with iPhone and Amazon because there are a lot of features with the newly launched smartphone.
The Pixel modern have special artificial intelligence service called Google Assistant, that will enable users of the device to communicate directly with Google assistance on resolving queries or asking questions and getting information.
Speaking on the new achievement, Sundar Pichai, the Chief Executive Officer of Google said the Google Assistant will provide a useful personal experience for the device users.
"Just like we built a Google for everyone, we want to build each user his or her own individual Google."
Google Assistant uses technology similar to that of Apple’s Siri service, and Microsoft’s Cortana system.
Pichai called Pixel the "first phone made by Google, inside and out." Taiwan-based HTC manufactures the phone but Google says it completely designed and built Pixel.

The Pixel is in two sizes as as explained below.
The phone comes in two sizes, 12.7 centimeters, or 14 centimeters. The price of the smaller phone starts at $649. The larger one, called Pixel XL, will cost $769. Users canupgrade either phone from 32 GB to 128 GB for $100 more.
