Despite the lose there were so many good compliments from Kompany, Manchester City defender and other lovers of the game and coach of Wales national team, Wales needs to wait for for the game between Hungary and Belgium for the quarter final stage.
Coleman said, “Commiserations to Michael and his team.“They were better than us today.
“It wasn’t pretty, but we hang on and came through it.
“I’d rather be standing here, having not played our best and in the quarter-final.
“They were probably the better team, but we showed a lot of courage, we hung in there.”
“We don’t look further than the next 45 minutes. We can’t afford to.
“But we’ll enjoy tonight.”
McAuley had no choice. He had to go for it. #NorthernIreland#Euros2016
