Abiola, IBB and Obasanjo
There is always a saying, "there is time when a child needs to talk" Fela's Son, Seun Kuti came out to revealed the reason why his late father was jailed, he claimed the late Mashood Abiola got his father jailed.
Seun Kuti also revealed on how Abiola, his wife; Ibrahim Babangida and Olusegun Obasanjo had Fela Kuti arrested.
As investigation was going on a certain Simbiat Abiola claimed that Fela Kuti and gang robbed her of her red car at a gun point, because of the friendship that existed between IBB, Obasanjo and MKO Abiola, reported the case to the then commissioner of police without investigation but Seun Kuti claimed all the allegations were all lies because according to him, his father Fela Kuti never stole a penny when he was alive.
According to Seun Kuti his father was thrown into jail and in the process there were 3 ex convict that were tortured by Abiola and the police and later bribed them in order to testify against Fela.
Fela was later charged to court and 2 of the three bribed witnessed testified that Fela was their gang leader and if found guilty, he "Fela" will face dealth penalty according to military regime then, while the 3rd witness testified with the truth because of his guilty conscience and that saved Fela's life, it will be recalled the 3rd witness was an ex kalakutian but was exile by Fela because he stole.
Fela was discharged and acquainted without the police charging MKO Abiola and his wife for attempted murder on Fela's life.
Fela revenged by hiring a truck filled with shit and drove it straight to Abiola's front house at midnight with an exclamation of "give me shit! i give you shit!!
Seun the son of Fela is now leads the band the father established before his "Fela" demised.
