It was a situation between life and death as Bear attacked Karen but she played startled
Karen Williams with with injuries inflicted on her by the Bear
The bear charged at her and scratched and bit her neck and head before she curled up on the ground and played dead.
The attack, on Saturday, left her with multiple punctures and cuts, a fractured right eye socket and ripped eyelid.
Ms Williams, writing on her Facebook page, said she curled up and lay still as the bear huffed around her before eventually leaving several minutes later.

She wrote: "I tried to look around but was having trouble seeing much. I tried to sit up but was nauseated and my arms didn't seem to work right."
The runner lay on the ground for 30 minutes before others came to her aid. One runner ran to the next water station to get help while others tended to her injuries.
Ms Williams was airlifted to a hospital in Albuquerque and was released on Sunday.
Wildlife officials tracked down the bear near where the attack took place, where it was euthanized.
New Mexico law requires wild animals that attack humans to be put down and tested for rabies.
Lance Cherry, a spokesman for the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish, said a search was underway for the bear's cubs, which would be taken to a wildlife centre if they are found.
He said: "We're trying to be careful about how we capture them. We don't want to injure them."
Black bears typically shy away from people, but have been known to attack - especially if a female bear feels her cubs are threatened.
Mr Cheery said there were four bear attacks in New Mexico in 2015.
