Solomon Ariase, former IG has been replaced by Ibrahim Idris

The New Nigeria Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris and Mr President

Solomon Ariase's tenure elapsed June 20th 2016, giving room for the assistant to step in as acting Inspector General of Police.

Information gathered that, both former IG and his assistance just left Presidential villa where they went to hold brief meeting with Mr President.

Ibrahim Idris, until this day, was assistance inspector general of police and was in charged of every federal operations that is to be carried out by the police in Abuja, Force Headquarters.

The acting inspector general police hails from Niger State, Northern part of Nigeria to be precise.
