"The sack came as a result of the early exit from Copa America competition currently going on in the United State of America (Host Nation) after 1:0 lost to Peru on June 12, 2016.
"Brazil national football team has not lost to Peru national football side since 1987, until 2016, Tite the current boss of Corinthians is likely to take over as manager.
"It will be recalled, Dunga 52 years old led Brazil to victory in Brazilian Seria A tittle in 2011 and 2015 respectively and as well as the Copa Libertadores at the 2012 Club World Cup.
Dunga however was the team manager of the national side in 2006-2010, during that period in charge, he was able to win the Copa America in 2007.
"During Dunga's stint with the national side as a player, they won the world cup in USA 1994 and he was the captain, from his record, he has coached the national side twice.
Dunga was suppose to lead the Olympic football team holding in his home country Rio de Jineiro to be precise after the Copa America in August but it will now be led by his successor.
