Samsung planning of splitting into two
Samsung, a company known for its perfect electronics products, a South Korean company, have been under pressure since it Note 7 battery and overheating problems that caused a huge damage on its capability is considering making the company two.
Now the Electronic giants are set to split the company into two in order to have easy access to some of the vital things and as well boost the shareholders value to grow the company
The issue of Note 7 which led the company to stop the production the exact model, happened in October, which made the company loose billions of dollars and probably some customers.
Also adding the electronic giant said it would bring in "external advisors to conduct a thorough review of the optimal corporate structure and that "the review does not indicate the management or the Board's intention one way or another."
We will pay out half of free cash flow to shareholders for 2016 and 2017 and raise the dividend for 2016 by 36% compared to the previous year, said Samsung in an effort to win the heart of its customers and investors.
Also for a smooth governance, Samsung is planning of nominating at least "one new, international, independent Board member" as well as create a separate governance committee.
