Craig David is British born, who is known for his R&B songs over years back but got silent and his fans and the public were wondering what might have happened to him, some even thought he was dead.
Reacting to the rumour, Craig David has now responded to the conspiracy claiming he was killed after the release of his second album over 5 years ago, and replaced by a body-building impostor.
"That could well be the case, you never know what the deal is. And that stunt double is coming through well. It's almost like being reborn,' he joked.
"He took the baton and he's like: 'OK great. Cool, that was nice what you did on Born To Do It and Slicker Than Your Average was nice. Let me take that baton from you,' he went on.
Continuing, both singer and DJ said: "I'm very on the periphery when it comes to conspiracy theories. I feel there's a lot of nonsense going on."
Craig's advice on budding conspiracy theorists, said: "Get involved. If you really want to know if there's aliens, then start working for NASA."
After five years the British R&B singer has come out with a new album 'Following My Intuition' which is currently topping UK chart so far.
Last month, the RnB hit-maker was forced to deny rumours that he is gay, telling KIIS FM's The Thinkergirls that he's definitely straight, and added that the seemingly never-ending speculation doesn't bother him.
"Sometimes people can get very aggressive with their response when they're heterosexual, I find that quite strange," Craig David said.
He added: "Ok, so someone thought you were gay, someone thought you were straight, either or, all good in the hood."
