Will it be a perfect idea? The electric car-makers (Tesla) are determined and already on the verge of making all of its new vehicles self-driving,which actually means their own brand of cars will be driving themselves while the owners or drivers sit and just relax.

It will be recall that Tesla already has inbuilt sensors, cameras and radar in their products, also the auto-braking system which is already active and working but the company still sees it as not befitting enough because it has to take several years before it can be fully self-driving.  

Now Tesla has begun disabling Autopilot on all its new cars temporarily because the electric car-makers want to allow "robust" testing with its new systems that has just been introduced.

Speaking on the achievement, Elon Musk the Tesla founder said: it hardware was "basically a super-computer in a car," but Musk wants to allow the regulators and members of the public to decide when self-driving cars can be used on the road before the company can start making them available.

He also said it is a good thing to build a self-driving tech now, even if it cannot be fully put to use now because trying to retrofit the hardware will cost consumers more than they bargain for and that can affect both the producers and the buyers of the vehicles.

The hardware for now will run in "shadow mode", gathering information about when the technology may have caused or avoided accidents had it been in command of the vehicle.

The founder, Musk, believe that Tesla could one day prove that it will be better to have vehicles drive themselves than to have humans drive them, that is part of the goal they would want to prove.

Tesla believe the only thing that is holding back the self-driving technology is the fact that Google and someone Greats who have the necessary sensor technology and the research development task are slowing things down.

If Tesla is able to achieve this goal, it will be a huge success for the company and it will open more doors for self-driving technology to strive high.

Despite missing sales and revenue targets over the past years, Tesla still believe they deserve to be backed because this new target will help majority of investors build confidence that the electric car-makers are still very organized.
