    Nigeria's Super Eagles and Watford Striker, Odion Ighalo is being accused of bribery and may face two-year jail sentence in Spain if found guilty

    Super Eagle and Watford striker, Odion Ighalo is being investigated over an alleged bribery scandal which a Granada Spanish publication, Marca have claimed the striker's finger print has been identified while he was still a player of Granada, Spain.

    There is a report claiming that a provisional district attorney's office of Granada has requested for a two-year jail term and 3,000 Euros fine the striker and his then ex teammate, Diego Buonanotte and 93 others the same bribery scandal.

    The bribery is said to be a driving test, the allegation was that the players hired some persons in 2012 and 2013 to help them through their driving test in order to pass the exams and after the test, some errors made during writing was deleted, according to provisional writing of the prosecution.

    There were other syndicates that were also detected during the investigation, Íllora (Granada), Mengíbar (Jaén) and Ciudad Real who moved to Granada also were accused to had hired students to help write exams for clients who wanted to pass the driving license exams with the charges between 1,500 and 2,500 Euros. 

    If there is an open trial on the case involving the striker, he might be asked to appear before the court in Spain to defend himself on the alleged bribery case, Vanguard reported.
