Haitians has begun three days of national mourning after Hurricane Mathew devastated the south of the country leaving hundreds of people dead and properties destroyed.

More than nine hundred (900) people are believed to have lost their lives, while tens of thousands of homes have been destroyed and some 350,000 people need aid, the government says.
