It was an embarrassing and humiliating night for a birthday girl and her friends after they were denied entry to a nightclub just because of their sizes in shape.
Bobbi Jo Goldsmith 20 was on a outing on her birthday with nine of her friends and had booked a table at Libertine London nightclub.
When they got to the nightclub the Friday night, being on the queue, they were immediately called out of the line due to their size in shape by the staff of the club.
Deborah Kerr, mum of Bobbi Jo told Mirrior: "I think it's a disgrace, I don't think clubs should do this."
"My daughter felt totally embarrassed and humiliated. It ruined her birthday night."
"Luckily she's a strong and resilient girl so wasn't too affected by it.
"But it made the night even more expensive, because they hadn't booked a table or anything like that.
"She's only a size 10. She's a cheerleader. I don't understand why they didn't get in.
"Having read the reviews, Libertine is known for this stuff. I think it should be boycotted."
She said that the promoter, who organised the night for Bobbi Jo, was told by a "tall French woman" that the girls didn't have the right image.
Deborah posted on Facebook: "To be told you're not the right look for the club and to be told you're too big in size and not good looking enough for the club's image is discrimination and should not be tolerated.

"Libertine London, shame on you!"
