Raymond MacCausland, a 72 year old Boston Driver has expressed his disappointment after he returned a whoopy sum of $187,000 to a passenger, who forgot the money in his cab and later was rewarded with a peanut '$100'.
The incident occurred on a Saturday the 2nd of July after he dropped me off, and Raymond later discovered the money in his cab and returned the money to Boston Police, where he was later given just $100 for his kind gesture, which Mr Raymond branded as disappointing.
The huge sum is said to have belong to a who got the money through inheritance after living in a homeless shelter for six months, Raymond has been a taxi driver for 50 years.
Expressing His disappointment to New York Daily News, he said: "I thought maybe he would give $500 or $1,000, maybe one of those bundles. I have never seen money like that before. It was quite a sight when they dumped it on the table, Raymond said.
The Boston Police Commissioner, William Evans in a statement said: "This hackney driver exhibited exemplary behaviour and his honest deed should be recognized.
It is said that, is not the first time Mr Raymond is returning some huge sum of money that there was a time he returned $10,000 to a certain passenger and at the end, he was given nothing.
