In the recent explosion that occurred in Mississauga, Ontario, has flattered a house, damaged 24 buildings and left one person dead.
The blast completely flattened one of the houses, which was destroyed in the incident.
An evacuation area has been set up as 50 to 100 people were forced to leave their homes.
CBC News says, 700 limited homes in the area that has access for victims to go as services are at "residual gas" left behind.
Chief Tim Beckett of Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services told CBC: "We are continuing to conduct an ongoing operation here with respect to the safety of the area.

"We have shut the area down. However, there's residual gas we have to look at.
"Nobody outside the perimeter prior to the explosion is allowed back into the perimeter for the purposes of securing the area."
The victim is yet to be identified due to incomplete investigation going on in the area.
Chief Beckett added: "We definitely have collapsed homes and unstable homes.
"There is definitely extensive damage to the area."
