President Nico Anastasiades wins second term in office

Incumbent President Nico Anastasiades has been declared winner of Presidential run-off election held Sunday 5th February 2018, after defeating rival Stavros Malas.

Stavros Malas put a call across to Anastasiades to congratulate him on the victory claiming garnering majority of the votes.

Nico Anastasiades will now serve second term in office.

Anastasiades won with 56 percent votes while Malas claimed 44 percent votes.
