Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue state has urged the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), to embark on registration of foreigners in all the 23 local government areas of the state. 

Ortom made the call on Monday, February 19, in Makurdi when the comptroller of NIS, Mohammed Hamis led other senior staff of the organisation on a courtesy visit to the governor, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), reports

Mohammed Hamis, the comptroller of NIS assured the governor that the organisation will ensure that foreigners do not come into the state to strike terror.
