    Terrorist attack has broken-out of an elderly home in Montpellier, France with a woman killed in the process

    A man believed to be a terrorist has killed a woman suspected to be a nun at a home for retired missionary monks, after the man slit open the throat of the harmless woman in the southern part of France, says anti-terror police.

    The attack happened at about 9:30pm at the Green Oaks care home in the village of Montferrier-suz-Lez, the north of Montpellier.

    According to reports gun shots were heard as the man attacked a member of staff including some members of an elderly religious community belonging to the Society of African Missions in north Montpellier, France.

    After the attack of the man believed to be a terrorist was armed with knife and a short gun, French police authorities mounted roadblocks on the scene with helicopters dispatched in order to captured the suspect.

    Before the woman suspected to be a nun was murdered, she was tied up and then stabbed multiple times, also it is believed there was a man who was trying to raise an alarm over the attack, was rounded-up by the armed man.

    Christophe Barret, Montpellier prosecutor has however spoke with press outside the retirement home, the scene of the attack.
