    Family demands $36m from Nick Gordon over the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown

    Following the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown in 2015 after her partner, Nick Gordon, admit giving the deceased a "toxic cocktail" before laying her face in the bath, a civil court ruled against the Nick and ordered to pay $36m to the family of Kristina.

    Nick Gordon failed to appear in court after he was accused and summoned several times to appear in court to defend the charges.

    Bobbi Kristina Brown was the only child of the Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, both American great musicians, who got married for 15-years and later divorce in 2007.

    It is reported that the mother of Kristina, Whitney Houston died in a similar circumstances after substance like morphine, cocaine, alcohol and prescription drugs were found in her system.

    After ruling in favour of the family of Kristina Brown, the judge ruled and said  Nick Gordon is "legally responsible" for the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown and must pay $36m.

    Kristina was found in her Atlanta home unconscious and spent six months in coma before she gave up the ghost in 2015.

    Nick Gordon was accused by the civil lawsuit of assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and transferring money from Brown's account into his own.

    Nick gave the deceased "toxic cocktail" and lay her face-down in the water.

    Attorney David Ware said: "There was an urgent need, in my mind, to get justice for Bobbi Kristina Brown and that's why I took the case. We intend to pursue, with all vigor, the full collection of the judgment".

    "We hope that in some small way this will allow Krissy's family to continue their quest for peace."
