Meet Paisley the 16 months old baby born with huge tongue almost bigger than normal adult size tongue.

Little Paisley born with an adult tongue
A baby girl has been born with a massive adult tongue which wouldn't allow her breath or make her mouth to cover completely, the tongue is so big that doctors were shocked when they first saw the baby, saying that is biggest of it kind they have seen.

When baby Paisley Morrison Johnson was first born, she needed breathing apparatus to breath for the first time in her life in order not to choke to death.

Paisley was diagnosed with Beckwith Wiedemann Syndrome (BWS) that affects babies to grow over-size and such normally happen to 11,000 babies worldwide, and because of the huge tongue she was being fed with gastronomy tube for six months.
    Paisley and her parents
The parents who by their names are Madison Kienow, 21, and Shannon Morrison-Johnson, 23, from Aberdeen in South Dakota, USA, wished for their little daughter's mouth to be able to cover the tongue after the first surgery that saw the doctor remove some flesh from her tongue but it grew to the way it were before, if not bigger.
But after the second surgery that saw the doctors removed about six inch of flesh from her tongue, little Paisley smile for the first time since her birth and that gave so much joy to her parent as they saw how beautiful their daughter is really looking.
    After Paisley's surgery
Paisley is now 16 month old and recovering after the second surgery was carried out on her.

Madison, the mother of Paisley has two more children ans she is a pre-medical student, explained the condition of her little girl by saying: "Her tongue filled up her whole mouth, it was very thick and protruding out of her mouth.

"It looked she had an adult's size tongue inside the mouth of a baby.

"Her tongue was constantly sticking out, she was always chewing on her tongue because it took up so much room in her mouth.

"When she was born, it was so enlarged that doctors worried it was going to affect her airways and cause her to suffocate and doctors told us she had one of the largest tongues they had ever seen and that the sooner she had reduction surgery the better.

"But after her first surgery it looked like her tongue had grown back to its original size and was really bothering us.

"During her second reduction surgery a massive amount of her tongue was removed and thankfully now it goes completely into her mouth.
Paisley smiling for the first time
"Since recovering she smiled for the very first time, I couldn't believe it and was shocked by how beautiful my little girl looked.

"Being able to see her smile is absolutely huge for us and now she's not even having difficulties eating which is a massive relief.

"She's like a completely new baby - her facial features look different, she smiles a lot and she has even getting close to saying her first words.

"She couldn't even make the sounds to say words like 'mama' and 'dada' before because of the size of her tongue so this feels like a massive achievement."

Madison said: "Because her tongue protruded out of her mouth and constantly stuck out it always looked like she was making silly faces.

"Quite often, strangers would stare at her and some would make comments.

"They would always ask me why she looked so different and why she had such a huge tongue."
