It is reported that some customers have been posting some challenges they are having with the device, one of the challenges is that it doesn't take long the rear panel will start scratching off which mean one should start using it, you must get a case for it.The iPhone 7 after just two weeks of usage it starts pilling off which is not a good sign of quality pack for the device so it will be advisable to get a case when purchasing it.
Even before the launching the device Apple warned the it's customers about the device's surprises and wear in the footnotes of the online Apple Store.
"The high-gloss finish of the jet black iPhone 7 is achieved through a precision nine-step anodisation and polishing process," it reads.
"Its surface is equally as hard as other anodised Apple products; however, its high shine may show fine micro-abrasions with use.
"If you are concerned about, we suggest you use one of the many cases available to protect your iPhone."
Apple encountered a similar problem with the black finish on the iPhone 5, which started to show wear and tear much faster than other colours.
Angry customers referred to the problem as "scuffgate" and Apple subsequently changed the shade ahead of the release of the iPhone 5S.
