First International Goal For Iwobi: Arsenal and Manchester City players scored for Nigeria today in the 2018 World Cup Qualifier Match against Zambia

Iwobi, Iheanacho,Mikel and Brown all celebrate  

The 20-year-old Iwobi scored his first international for Nigeria on Sunday as they defeated stubborn Zambia national team side right there in Zambia for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

The Arsenal star has be able to convince Arsene Wenger that He is a player to rely on and now showing his worth on the international stage.

It will be recalled that Zambia National Team side was the champions of Africa in 2012 after winning the Africa Cup of Nations.

Kelechi Iheanacho then doubled the goal after dribbling past an onrushing Zambian goal keeper before cutting off a defender to net in the ball, making it 2 for Nigeria but Zambia later scored a consolation goal.
