Chelsea signs big contract with Nike
Chelsea football club have confirmed a contract deal with Nike that is worth £900 million over the period of 15-years, which means Nike will take-over from Adidas which their contract was £30 million a year.
The contract with Nike which worth £60 million a year, means it will become the club biggest contract signing in history and also the biggest in the history of sports in England.
Even Chelsea Football Club is not in the European competition this season they still got this astonishing contract with Nike that will be controlling England sports department.
Nike will officially take over from the beginning of the 2017-2018 season, producing strips for the first-team, academy and ladies teams and a full range of clothing.
Reacting to the contract, Chelsea Director Marina Granovskaia said: "This is an incredibly exciting and important deal for the club. Like Chelsea, Nike is known around the world for its excellence and innovation and we look forward to working together in what is sure to be a successful partnership.
