    Big blow for Manchester City and luck for Manchester United as de Bruyne is ruled out of derby match

    Manchester United must be very lucky and smiling now as Kelvin de Bruyne is out with a calf injury  and will not be part of Manchester derby later this evening.

    The midfielder will miss the Wednesday EFL Cup fourth-round tie later this evening against local rivals in Old Trafford.

    Also another first team player that is out in the Manchester City squad, is the Argentine defender, Pablo Zabaleta but skipper of City, Vincent Kompany is however fit and available to fill the space.

    Since the beginning of the new season, Manchester City however have had five games without a win in all competitions and manager Pep Guardiola is not ready to stick to some particular players.

    Pep further said "Some are going to play. I need to see the players in training and after we will decide the team and that he always expects the best from his rivals.

    For Manchester United, they have not won any league match this month as their latest defeated was in the hands of Chelsea as they were thrashed 4-0 on Sunday by Conte's led boys.

    Guardiola admitted by saying: "They are a strong team with quality. They are six points behind just two games", however their first meeting in this new season, City won by 2-1 in Etihad Stadium on September and the injured de Bruyne was one of the goal scorers.

    "Derbies are always special. We are going to try to play seriously and try to win the game."

    Sergio Aguero have been linked with a move away from Etihad but the Spanish tactician wants his striker to stay "for a long time, "I am so happy with Sergio. I want him to stay and play with us. He's a special player."
