    Jose Mourinho's Manchester United thrashed defending champions to go third on the premier league table

    It was like a game training for Manchester United as they went all the way to thrash the defending champions Leicester city 4-1 this afternoon in Old Trafford.

    Chris Smalling opened up the goal for Manchester United in the 22nd minute after Blind made a cross from the a corner kick before Mata made it two in the 37th minute with an assist from Rashford, then Rashord made it three in the 40th minute with assist from Mata before the highest payed footballer in the game made it four with a fantastic header.

    Paul Pogba's goal is his first premiership goal since making the sensational move from Juventus to Manchester United this summer.

    All Manchester United goals were scored in the first 45 minutes of the game.

    Leicester City scored their consolation goal through Gray in the 59th minute to make it 4-1.

    Jose Mourinho dropped Wayne Rooney on the bench and later brought him in the 83rd minute of the game.

    Manchester United are now third in the table after the win against Leicester City.
