EDO STATE ELECTION UPDATE: Both APC and PDP battles for the seat of governor tomorrow

The two aspirants running for the 'Seat of Governor' 

The Edo State election is slated for tomorrow and both the parties are not finding it easy because the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP is a popular popular political party in the state and so as the All Progressive Congress political party.

The APC is the current ruling party in the state and the country's ruling party at the federal level, APC actually defeatedthe PDP to be the state's ruling party so also at the federal level.

Since the birth of democracy in Nigeria in the year 1998, PDP has be the ruling party both at the state and federal level. 

In an effort to make the governorship election a peaceful, free and fair, 25,000 policemen has been deployed to the state by the government since last week making the citizens so tensed.

Also the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), has also deployed 20,000 personnel for the Edo governorship election, Abdullahi Gana, the Commandant General of the body said.
