Lionel Messi
Barcelona's Lionel Messi picked up a groin strain injury yesterday in the recent La-Liga match against Atletico Madrid which ended in a 1-1 draw in Camp Nou Barcelona's home ground.
In the second half of the game in the 59th minute the striker went off after tackle from Diego Godin of Atletico Madrid and he is expected to return for Barcelona when they face Manchester City on the 19th of October in the Champions League tie.
The play maker will all miss out of the game against Borussia Monchengladbach in the Champions League, Sporting Gijon, Celta Vigo in Spain's La-Liga matches and the World Cup Qualifiers game against Peru and Paraguay respectively.
Another very important player Sergio Busquets of Barcelona was also injured and removed from the same game but there is no much information on his come back.
