Nnamdi Kanu the leader of the Indigenous People of Briafa (IPOB), has be honored with an award even while in prison, and this award came from the Igbo Youths in Enugu State.
The spokesperson of IPOB, the person of Mr Powerful Emma, released in his statement that Nnamdi Kanu has been given this award because of his struggle for the liberation of the Igbo people despite all the challenges and forces.
The award of honour was celebrated in Nike Hotel in Enugu. also Powerful Emma said even while incarcerated Nnamdi Kanu has remained unshakable and determined to actualize his course for being detained. The IPOB leader received the award of honour which Powerful Emma said is for greatness and that Kanu is liberator of the present days.
Emma also said Nnamdi Kanu defeated the falsehood in Nigeria with his honesty and truth without weapons and firearms, His focus, ruthlessness, determination in actualizing the Indigenous People of Biafra and the respect shown to him by people across the world most especially the youths qualified him for the prestigious award.
It will be recalled that the leader of the Ingenuousness People of Biafra was arrested for the possession of illegal firearms, Leading and unlawful protest that lead to the death of many people and many other crimes on October 2015 in Murtala Mohammed airport Lagos by DSS on arrival into the country from United Kingdom and ever since Then he has been in detention even when he was granted bail by a federal court in Abuja.
