Both goals were scored in the first half of the game.

Ronaldo is always known for taking the last kick when it comes to penalty shooting but this time, he started it, could it be he was trying to ease the pressure off his shoulders or he was trying to give the rest players confident?

This time it was Ricardo Quaresma who fired the last kick after Blasczkowski misses the decisive kick that saw Portugal qualified for the semi-finals of the tournament.
