Worries as Apple Ordered to Stop the Sales of iPhone 6 in China
The iPhone models apparently look like the one made by shenzhen Beili
Shenzhen Beili 100 phone model
This order came in to stop the sales of the two versions in Beijing because the current iPhone 6 and 6 Plus look so similar to its competitor. And these two versions infringed design patent for the 100C model made by shenzhen Beili, a small Chinese brand.
This order was made in May and has now been released by the Chinese media.
However Apple claimed they have been allowed to still be selling the two versions/devices for now after a Beijing court stayed the administrative order on appeal.
This order has made the shares of Apple fall to 2.3% immediately after the News emerged leading to a fall on the S&P 500 of 0.3% and a 0.9% drop for the Nasdaq.
This has caused Apple the second biggest lost in its second biggest market after the regulators forced it to suspend iBook and iTunes movie services in April.
In May a court ruled and favoured a Chinese company to be allowed, the using of iPhone trademark on bags, wallets and other leather goods.
