It is on record, that Israel has never been attacked before by the so-called Islamic terrorist group known as ISIS but a group called Shuhada al-Yarmouk, believed to be a collaborator of ISIS, attacked Israeli soldiers and Karma immediately caught up with them, after the group were wiped out by an Israeli airstrike.

Reacting to the strike, Lieutenant Colonel Peter Lerner, from the Israel Defence Force, confirmed the soldiers were from the Golani Brigade and were ambushed by machine gun and mortar fire by the so-called terrorist group.

Nitzan Nuriel, A retired Israeli general, Nitzan Nuriel, said: "A direct attack like that on Israeli activities on the Israeli side of the border this is the first time.

"They know exactly what the Israeli response would be.

"An Israeli front is the last thing ISIS needs at this stage."

Ever since war broke-out in Syria in 2011, this attack is first Israel is experiencing from ISIS affiliated fighters.

General Nuriel, a former director of Israel’s Counter Terrorism Bureau, said the attack could not have been ordered by the ISIS leader Bu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Instead, the attacks were instigated by "local hotheads".

Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli Prime Minister applaud his soldiers who "successfully repelled an attempted attack on the convergence point of three borders".

"Our forces are prepared on our northern border, and we won’t let ISIS elements or other hostile elements use the cover of the war in Syria to establish themselves next to our borders", he continued.

Israel have accused Syrian government of any attack that is erupting from the territory of the middle eastern country, even when the Syrian government is not in connection with it, a source said.
