After a whole lots of speculations if the Brazilian wizard will extend his contract due to an investigation over his signing from home country club Santos, Neymar has finally extended his contract with new five-year deal, allowing him to stay till 2021.
The deal will on 1 July increase his release clause by 200 million euros (£178 million), while the second year it will amount to 222 million euros (£200 million) and the third year 250 million euros (£225 million).
The 24-year-old joined Barcelona from home country club Santos and he has since score 91 goals in 150 appearances and won two La-Liga titles, one Champions League trophy and two Copa del Rey.
Barcelona is the current La-Liga Champions.
