Samsung the telephone dealers has announced stoppage of production and sales of it's newly launched smartphone Note7 due to claims despite the replacement of it's battery, there are still issues facing it when it comes to it's safety.
Reuters and South Korea's Yonhap news agency already cited an officials who their names were withheld claiming the company had temporarily stopped its Note 7 production lines.
In September the smartphone giants assured users of the product the it has fixed the battery issues that the device is now safe and good to be use.
Some of its business collaborators like AT&T and T-Mobile based in the US has earlier said that there is no guarantee of them replacing the device and another said they are totally stopping the sale of the product entirely.
T-Mobile added on their website by saying: "While Samsung investigates multiple reports of issues, T-Mobile is temporarily suspending all sales of the new Note 7 and exchanges for replacement Note 7 devices".
Meanwhile, AT&T said: "We're no longer exchanging new Note 7s at this time, pending further investigation of these reported incidents." It advised customers to exchange them for other devices.
Samsung said in a statement last month that the issue of overheating was caused by a "rare" manufacturing error that resulted in the battery's "anode-to-cathode (negative and positive electrodes)" coming into contact.
Samsung Note 7 got burnt
There was a report in Kentucky that in a home there was smoke coming out of a bedroom due to the Note 7 battery malfunctioning, and another occurred in a domestic aircraft when smoke started coming out of the cabin and that led to the evacuation of passengers from the craft.
