Coach Samson Siasia
The head coach of the U23 dream team, Samson Siasia has named John Obi Mikel, Kenneth Omeruo Daniel Akpeyi will be available for the Rio de Jeneirio in Brazil as Wilfred Ndidi assured, He will be available as well.
However coach Samson Sasia has raised an alarm over some clubs not allowing their players to be available for the Olympic game, such players like Iheanacho of Manchester City and Iwobi of Arsenal.
According to coach Siasia, "We have some players that have promised to join us and they have shown commitment like Wilfred Ndidi, who has assured us that he will join us in America"
"Other players that also promised to come are; goal keeper Kenneth Akpeyi, Kenneth Omeruo, John Obi Mikel, These are the players that are confirmed for now, Siasia said.

"But like i have been saying it won't be easy at all at the Olympic but we will try and put this team to the level needed to compete for honours in this high level of competition", Siasia added.
The minister of sport, Solomon Danlung is not impressed with the selection Coach Siasia has made as he feels the coach would have added a number of players who won the U23 African Cup of Nations in December 2015 to the squad.
