A woman was stunned when she realized a pair of pyjamas she bought with a 'cute design' turned out to be covered in people having sex.

The unsuspecting shopper took to social media to show people the clear mistake she'd made when it came to purchasing the £21 nightwear from Ann Summers.

From a distance they appear to be a regular black and white cami and shorts set but on closer inspection they're a little more X-rated.

The woman posted a picture of herself wearing the pyjamas on Twitter as well as some very graphic zoomed in shots.

She captioned the photographs: "When u buy your Pyjama's out of Ann summers thinking its a cute design, to go home and realize folk are sh****in all over u [sic]."

Her post has since been shared more than 6,500 times and liked by nearly 12,000 people.

And she's not the only one who claim to have been duped by the pattern.

Twitter user Chloe Shaw said "you're not alone" while another user tagged a friend and said "Ahhahaha remember when I purchased these."
