Tottenham completes the signing of Victor Wanyama from Southampton on a five year contract for  £11 million.

Both the player and manager will once again reunited at Tottenham, who was the players former manager during his spell as Saints player and Pochettino was  manager.

Wanyama was signed from Celtic by Southampton in 2013 for £12.5 million and scored 4 goals in 85 appearances in the 2015-2016 premier league season.

This move made it the second time Tottenham approached the Keyan captain, the last time was last summer when interest came in but decided to stay put with Southampton.

With a passionate letter written by Wayama on his website, "It is very emotional for me to say goodbye to the club that gave me the chance to be the first Kenyan to play in Premier League."

Furthermore Wayama wrote  "I will never forget my time in Southampton Football Club, I will keep club forever in my heart."

Since the break after a hectic season, Wayama's signing is Tottenham's first signing.

Wayama has played for some European clubs like Germinal Beerschot of Belgium, Helsingborgs of Sweden, Celtic in Scotland before moving to premier league to join Southampton and now his current club Tottenham.
