Breaking News: Nigeria Army Reveals People Behind Buhari's Overthrowing

It will be recalled that some few days ago Niger Delta militants announced that there are some military officers who are planning to overthrow President Mohammadu Buhari's Administration.

However military have denied such rumour and vowed to fish out those behind such disturbing rumour.

The Chief of Army Staff Lt Gen. Tukur Buratai, has however said some of the political class and officers are to be blamed for the overthrow rumour of President Muhammadu Buhari's Administration. 

But there were no direct and specific names mentioned, there is still believe that He knows some names but wants to carry out more investigations.

Buratai further warned that no army who tries such plans or have such agenda will be fish out and said there are investigations currently going on to put such rumour at rest.

In Buratai's words said: “We are much better under democracy. Military misadventure in democracy should not repeat itself. “We see it as an attempt to show some misgivings by some officers and the political class, but they will fail.” 

The Army Chief made it clear again that the army sworn allegiance to protect and guide the interest of the nation and that it will remain apolitical and professional in delivering its duty.

However one f the Army officer that was strongly questioned about the rumour, denied it and said, it was just a mere fabrication and that whoever that said it, is just to draw attention, get more publicity a and cause public apprehension.
